Course Description:
Students are expected to have an intermediate level of understanding and competence with both their rifle and pistol.  This semi-private, individual focused course is designed for shooters of all abilities.  The instructor will give personalized attention to the shooters that will allow them to build the confidence, skills and competence to be a better protector.   This course will start with a standard’s drill and then move into weapon competence (reloads, malfunctions, marksmanship, safety).  Once students can demonstrate use of their equipment, the course will shift to movement drills and engaging multiple targets from multiple distances.  Once the students have experienced movement drills the instructor will introduce basic tactics and run small drills.  The instructor will always run any tactical drill dry prior to live fire drills to ensure student confidence and safety.   Students are required to participate in dry fire drills prior to live fire. Students should expect to learn how their gear helps or hinders them and are expected to adjust them for the next class.  The instructor will adjust drills and tactics movements based on the competency of the students.
