Course Description:

Defensive pistol is designed to teach students how to operate their pistol in a number of scenarios from concealed carry to home defense.  This semi-private, individual focused course is designed for shooters of all abilities.  The instructor will give personalized attention to the shooters that will allow them to build the confidence, skills and competence to be a better protector.   This is a fast-paced course where the student will be on their pistol a majority of the day using a variety of techniques.  After a standard’s check, students will move into engaging multiple targets at various distances.  Students will be able to demonstrate reload and malfunction techniques while on the move and stationery.  The instructor will show students techniques of shooting from cover and the use of concealment.  The instructor will run the students through a series of drills to help the student experience techniques that can be used during concealed carry and home defense.  The instructor will adjust drills and tactics movements based on the competency of the students.

Equipment Required:

• 3 magazines
• Eye protection, ear protection
• Cover garment or Kit (Cover garment any garment that you use to conceal your weapon, ie hoodie, flannel shirt, vest etc).
• Sturdy belt or gun belt
• Concealment holster or outside waistband holster
• Water/food
• At least 500 rounds (ball ammo only)

• Weapon cleaning kit
• Additional magazines
• Weapon mounted light
