This class is a requirement to obtain a concealed carry permit in the state of New Jersey. The curriculum follows the minimum standards for the NJ Concealed Carry Firearm Safety Training set by the NJSP. Our Instructors are Duly Authorized as defined in the NJ State Law and have accepted certificates of instructor training requirements.

What Will Be Covered:

• Firearm Safety
• Concealed Carry Necessities
• Holster manipulation – Drawing & Re-holstering
• Use of Force
• New Jersey carry specifications – Application process, carry locations, and ammunition
• NJSP CCARE Requirement – Firearms Shooting Qualification (50 Rounds)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Note-taking material (notepad and pen or electronic tablet)
• Clothing that can bear the weight of a holster and firearm
• Sturdy belt to affix holster (optional)
• Pistol: Semi-Auto or Revolver you intend to carry
• A secured holster with proper SHAPE RETENTION.
• 100 Rounds of quality ammo.
• Eye & Ear Protection
• Minimum of three magazines or six speed loaders
• Magazine pouch – Holds at least two spare mags

Live Fire Test in accordance to NJSP Civilian Carry Assessment and Range Evaluation (CCARE) Qualification Course.

Total 50 Rounds: 10 rounds @ 15 yards, 10 rounds @ 10 yards, 10 rounds @ 7 yards, 10 rounds @ 5 yards, 10 rounds @ 3 yards: Strings of fire will start from a concealed holster, then drawing with two hands. IT IS NOT TIMED!
Targets will be the FBI Q targets. This will be performed with a pistol that you legally own.
