This class is designed for a person that does not own a handgun. Prior to purchase, they desire training and direction on selecting and purchasing their first semi-auto pistol. In this class training pistols and training, ammunition is provided.  

The two-hour class is Instructor led from beginning to end. The time includes lectures, and hands-on practice learning firearm safety, and the proper operation of a semi-automatic pistol. You will also go over the different options for pistols, holsters, and magazine pouches among other items which will all be based on your individual needs.

  Introduction to firearms safety, pistol parts, and operation on the semi-automatic pistol
  Rules for Safe Gun Handling
  Introduction to the basics of pistol shooting (stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger control)
  Handgun Nomenclature
  Handgun Maintenance
• Required Equipment:
  Training pistol (Included with class)
  Training ammunition (50 rounds included with class)
  Eye protection*
  Hearing protection*
  Range Appropriate Clothing (T-shirt/hoodie and long pants with closed-toe shoes)
  Note-taking material (Notebook or electronic device)
